this is a beautiful church. I love these photos, especially the one with the
skull of St Lazarus and the icon of St George. The iconostas is amazing and
almost stretches up to the ceiling. I wondered if you visited the museum nearby
which contains a very old icon of St Lazarus on a wooden panel. There is also an
icon written on the end of a boat! We enjoyed our visit to this church in 2007.
St Lazarus lived in Cyprus for a further 30 years after he was raised from the
dead and became Bishop of Citium.
